Rap music and hidden messages and coruption of the youth
I dont listen to this music, but have a friend who does, and he showed me this video.
Pretty ****ed up. Lots of symbolisim and subliminal mesages.
This is just one, but Jay-Z, Kanye West are doing the same shit.
I think that todays rap music is one of the most detrimental things to our society, because of the corrupting of the young peoples mind. i.e. putting so much emphasis on materialistic things.
Example [VIDEO] Rocksmith Presents: 2 Chainz Feat Kreayshawn - MURDER - YouTube
What do you think?

Pretty retarded. I got no problem with horror movies (even bad ones) or horror music. I got no problem with anyone that likes that music either. You can't blame a movie or a song for making you freak out, but people are becoming so easily led that it doesn't take much.

And then we have Jay Z who is up to the old backward masking trick with the message 666 Murder Murder Jesus. Weird stuff.
At least back in the day it was only things like Queens another one bites the dust backwards masking was smoke pot. lol
Yeah this rap/crap most of it forwards or backwards is all about hate, crime, murder and such.

LOL.!
What da ...???
Stupid video...brain dumbed down techniques. That Illuminati BS rumor is just that---BS. Ain't no way that the illuminates would let a low-life like JZ into their group....lol. He's a puppet (albeit a highly paid one).
Me Thinks MORONS like JZ who call themselves artist are really being trained by the Controllers to put more Blacks and idiot Wiggers in jail. The process is called Eugenics----a system of eliminating and thinning the population of unproductive people. They are heavily involved in Mind Programming and its working.
Lets face it, there are too many idiots who are nonproductive this planet. So the system has created the Criminal Industrial Complex to feed off the misery of those who buy into this TOUGH GUY pansy arse shit that only makes sense to low-quality ignorant people.
Yep....its a BIG BUSINESS PLAN that those in power are implementing right now before your eyes. Don't take too much imagination to see this is what's happening.
Just make sure your not one of the Morons who's brain can't function and see through this BS. The system is out to get as much people locked up and under their thumb.
Producing Brain-washing BS video's like this one of the CHIEF ways to brainwash the Sheeple.

if you had read "The lord of the flies", you'd know there's no such thing as "corruption of youth": they are already corrupted.

They all were still old enough to had already be influenced by society before being stranded and creating their little hierarchy.
That being said the bigger, stronger will always be more dominant in most species except for humans where we have more brain power and can reason or overcome the physical limitations by outsmarting our opponents.

Well, goddamn that is a ****ed up little girl Austinite. Do not really know what to say about that.
I grew up in Memphis, and this is the rap that we listened to. It was all underground tapes. I used to love this shit. Smoke a blunt and drive around and get in trouble.
I do not advocate any of this. Ive grown up a little bit. Have to say it stil;l kind of sounds good. Definitly brings back memories.

Then you have x corrections officer Rick Ross who never moved "keys" like he says.
Fake people rapping about fake things, get the young ones wanting to be drug dealin gangsters.
Stupid people are so easily manipulated and controled.
I hate to say it but I actually like this song
T.I. - Pledge Allegiance ft. Rick Ross [Music Video] - YouTube
I cant stand rap, especially fake rap. But some of the beats I like

Very interesting topic. I am not sure how I feel on this topic anymore. As a kid I was what you would call at risk. Had alot of anger issues, etc. Rap music to me at that time was a life saver. FYI i was a white country boy. However it is all I could really relate to. The message they were sending is something I identified with. Fortunately I was smart enough to know that the music was an artistic way to release negative thoughts and emotions in a positive manner. I knew the guys rapping wernt the real thugs, and that they found a way to express themselves and therefore not fall victim the things being said. That is how I interpretted it anyway. I feel i kept me OUT of trouble, let me know my thoughts and feelings were shared, and that it doesnt have to hold me back in life. I truly believe it helped me become a better man that holidng it in and acting out. I viewed it as a very introspective way to address my issues and vent them(now I wasnt a rapper, but I did fill about 10 several hundred page notebooks with my mental discharge throught my youth). So for me, my relationship with rap music in all its harshness was a tool to grow beyond my circumstance. That bieing said I am now 34 with a daughter on the way, and I find myself becoming further from identifying wit hany of this, and am not sure how I feel. I do not want my daughter listening to all this stuff. Then again I will not put her in a position to be hurt, alone and helpless with no direction or support, where I feel this music can save a child or two that can learn that they can be what is being talked about, or they can find a way to accept and overcome, potentially through intelectual and artistic representation of there surroundings and feelings, be it dance, music, painting, poetry, whatever.....

I used to listen to rap a lot but then I noticed that it wasn't me.
I couldn't relate to music and most of the time I just noticed that I liked the song based off the beat.
It's usually same topics(bitches,sex,violence,gangbanging,money....)
I dont really like how many rappers promote satanism( ASAP crew, Jay-z. Kanye West)
Now I mostly just listen to heavy metal, ambient and Two Steps From Hell

I'll never forget being in jr. high and some kid was handing out flyers (given to him by his church) about rock and roll bands being satanic. Kiss,Black Sabbath,Iron Maiden,And even my fave Rush was on the list with a few others. Most of the bands just use it as a marketing ploy. However,I can't stand rap music. Rap is just crap without the c,just my opinion.

Do most videos oversea start with a short movie?
Realist: A person who sees things as they truly are. A practical person. The pessimist complains about the wind; The optimist expects it to change; The realist adjusts the sails. — William Arthur Ward
