Unless I'm mistaken they were all kids on a school bus. He was the only option and he did nothing.

These are babies fella's. Obviously poor upbringings but we can't assume that they have the sensibility to intervene. These are the same kids that run after the ice cream van. The kids that attacked the little boy should be punished somehow, but the other kids should not be blamed for anything. They're like 8 and 9 years old I think with a PBJ sandwich from mom in their lunchbox.

True. There's a vast history with bus driver related issues and because they're in the presence of children, people will have NO MERCY on him if he made the slightest mistake. His mind was probably going a million miles an hour.

Also, note... that less than 2 seconds after he took the first punch, he sunk to the floor and you could no longer see him. Makes me wonder if the driver even knew the kid was a white kid. That much commotion, no one would recall seating arrangements.

They are considering charging the bus driver for lack of action on his part. Watch the beginning of the tape. The kid's just sitting there and is attacked. The bus driver very well may have had his ars kicked but you'd think as a man he'd at least try to get between them and prevent it from continuing.

Fare is fare. If it works one way why not the other? Color should not matter if its a hate or race crime with the victim. Caucasian victim = no race or hate crime, black victim = race or hate crime mos t of the time.

I'm not sayin the driver was right not to step in, he should have. But being an elderly man and seeing as how our system is soo screwed up, I can see why he didn't. I think it's unfair that they're trying to charge him.

I have seen this a lot as a kid going to intercity schools.No one will help because next time it will be them.And maybe when he is alone.The sad thing is I seen behavior almost as bad on a Greyhound bus.The driver didn't care just walked off.

This has been touched on but if that had been three white kids beating a black kid with and adult white man not intervening it would be a top story with all the media hopping up and down.
