Back from Vacation
So I spent some time in London, Madrid and Ibiza. It was my first time in Europe and had an excellent time. So ****ing expensive though. Some things I learned.
Food, fashion, women are so far ahead of the US. The women are just on another level of hot. American girls are blown away by girls from Europe. I have to say that a lot of the Brits I met seemed to not be too fond of Americans and in fact most people did not seem to be too fond of Americans. They seemed more willing to speak when I said I was from NYC. All in all I found that Americans are more for random conversations then people from Europe.
I started my day in Piccadilly Circus in London and moved around to all the major tourist spots. Took some great pictures of London. The architecture of the buildings are so different from what you are used to in NYC. I really liked the look it gave the city. I was also surprised how many foreigners were in the tourist areas. I didnt hear many people speak English. I went to a couple of bars and ate at some different restaurants through out the day. I met a nice couple who were older and the wife was from NYC and they gave me a tour of some different bars. She came over to me as I was wearing a NY Giants hat. All in it was a great but super expensive day becuase the pound is almost 2-1 to the Dollar. Went to bed woke up and flew to Madrid.
I ****ed up and took half a xanax stick the night before so I was pretty much a zombie in Madrid. Didnt get many pictures and really didnt get a good chance to do some exploring. I was too focused on getting to Ibiza.
When I landed in Ibiza you could see there were dead bodies all over the airport. People just mangled from the week getting ready to go back home and they had no gas left in the tank. When I passed through customs both agents had sleeves of tatoos and Mohawks and instantly I knew it was party time.
The first night we all were supposed to take it easy. We rented a 7 bedroom villa in Can Furnet Ibiza. We had a pool, jacuzzi in my bedroom and the place was ****ing awesome BUT the ****ing Brit bastards lied to us about having air conditions. All we had were fans and during the day its gets to about a 105. It was in tolerable so sleeping was limited to like 2 hours a day plus from other reasons also....
Hit the strip in PLaya Den Bossa and went to some bars met some girls and just partied our asses of. The next day we hit the beach and the Meditteranean Sea was ****ing awesome. Super salty compared to beaches Us. Water was a perfect blue and the beaches were sandy and the best part all of the girls were topless. Nothing like having a conversation with a girl while she is topless. Met a broad from New Zeland and she was like you americans dont go topless do you and I am like no they dont. So this is pretty abnormal for you to be talking to a girl at the beach with tits right in your face. I said I think I could handle it.
I was a lil disappointed in the music the first few nights out there. Ibiza being the mecca for house music I have to say the crowds had no vibe but the parties were awesome and the party favors made NY's look like a joke.
The last few nights we hit up Space for Carl Cox which was totally awesome, DC10 which was super underground feel, Loco Dice at Usuhai pool party and then for the best dj in the wolrd Richie Hawtin at Space. For me Richie Hawtin at space would be equal to your sports team playing the super bowl at home. It just doesnt get any better.
We were comped at pretty much every party and the night of Hawtin we were walked in through the side entrance through the kitchen of Space and put into Vip. Once in VIP we bought a round of cocktails. 4 drinks = 160 euros which depending on your exchange was between 200-220 american $$$. We looked at the bar tender and said I am not paying for that are you crazy. Thats almost 50 american a drink. Tells us we would get kicked out if we dont. So form that point on it was water and lol. Hands down one of the greatest nights of music I have ever heard in my entire life.
After 7 nights in Ibiza I had lost 10 lbs and probably a few years off my life but I was ready to come. Almost missed my connecting flight, airline lost my luggage, and came down with a double ear infection and bronchitis but it was all worth it.
I am very jealous of their lifestyle in europe. I learned I was way too old for Ibiza as alot of people spend their summers their out of high school and during college. From most countries ibiza is a 2 hour plan ride and there was a ton of Non clubbing things to do there. Its very similar for Florida for people in NY. Had down to Miami to party or Boca to relax and eat well for the week.
Great trip and may try to go next summer one last time before I am married. If I am allowed....lol

They talk funny.
Realist: A person who sees things as they truly are. A practical person. The pessimist complains about the wind; The optimist expects it to change; The realist adjusts the sails. — William Arthur Ward

Sounds like good times but as the saying goes, it's worthless without pictures. This is in regards to the topless beach.

Luggage is finally found and coming this week. Hopefully comes before I leave for weekend.
I would love to go back to England. Hopefully the dollar gets better. Just too expensive.

Welcome back, I've been dying to go to Ibiza. I'm from Greece so they have their own party life and lifestyle. But I have to agree with you one hundred percent on the fact that Europe is ahead of us in many things like fashion and lifestyle.

Lol, many would dis agree re the fashion etc for women, you just were in london and london has lots and lots of money and therefore the women dress up and have the means to buy fashion etc. It's the same in Dublin over here lots of the richers areas the women are all dressed up and hot. Go to the shit areas and you will find a comepletely different type of person etc.
Ibiza is crazy money friend of mine goes over there regularly and like you just goes for the music as the drink is insane money. The best place you could go for a savage house/dance mix and not be destroyed money wise is Poland, you will live like a king there for 200 dollars or less a day you will get Boss suits etc for half the price what you normally would pay etc.
Unfortunetly for you, re the American thing is that lots of them are generally older and therefore take over a place and therefore ye all get tarred with the same brush. Most of the time I find Americans over here very polite and generally sound to the locals and up for a laugh.Last edited by DCI; 08-20-2013 at 03:57 PM.

I personally think the Brit guys and girls dressed ridiculous. The girls are going for this hard 80's pornstar look and the men cuff their ****ing shorts so high that its in the middle of their leg. It was very girly. When I was in london all I saw was tourists. No locals what so ever.
I like exotic women. So I might have been partial to the women in Ibiza.
I was annoyed but at the same time I got this persons point. My grandparents are from Ireland. My nationality in Irish and I brought that up and they were like you are American lol not Irish....ok next....Last edited by Rwy; 08-21-2013 at 09:32 PM.

Lol yeh they have their own kinda weird style in London. You only have the rich londoners left all the middle class have been forced out unless you want to live in a box apt due to all the rich bankers etc buying up property.
Lol ahhh you have to understand the irish thing from our point of view do you that every american that comes to ireland says there great great great great mothers brother sister was irish it gets a bit tiresome and some of the less life experienced americans actually ask us are leprechauns are real I mean wtf.
Ahh but if you have an american passport your american.
If you can understand this line, for every hot bouer, there a feen lampin her ass. If you can understand that you are entitled to say you are irish lol

No clue...lol
I totally get it though from your part. Our culture in America is to tell people what background we are. We dont say American which in reality is what ever single one of us are. My grand parents were off the boat. So during family events there were more then a few people who had irish accents. Def not the great great great.
I remember being a kid and my family getting their drink on and singing old irish songs all night. My family is def not some 1% reaching to be irish.
