I remember watching him when he first emerged. He was a strong puncher but not a great boxer. I seem to remember the claims of being John Wayne's relation was false.

He did have HIV, he fought a few years ago outside north America because he had some tests done somewhere showing he didnt have HIV however shortly after there were tests showing he had it. That is what I heard I`m not a direct source but I am a big boxing fan. RIP

A couple years ago, Morrison was seen sporting the sarcoma lesions aids patients get. His wife probably has aids too. He swore up and down hiv doesn't cause aids and it doesn't kill people. Well, I wonder if his wife still believes that entirely.

He should be used as an example to kids. He had the potential to be one of the greatest fighters ever in the ring. Instead, he made one bad choice after another and went on a downward spiral. It's really tragic.

Disagree. He was simply a hitter, not a boxer. He was up against an era that contained some of boxings best and I highly doubt he could have risen to that level.

Ok the real bad deal on Tommy "The Guns" Morrison was that he denied ever having HIV and knew he had it. So.....he tagged everything in site in the greater Kansas City Area as well as elsewhere. Now there are hundreds living with HIV due directly and indirectly to his extreme carelessness and callousness. For that he was a douche of epic proportions. IMO. One of his good buddies was "Marky Mark" AKA Mark Wahlberg. Did they do the big nasty eh who knows doubtful though but then again Wahlberg was a wild child in his younger years. If so he is sweating in his boots about now....
