Can your body metabolize it?
Can your body metabolize it?
What do you mean? There are a lot of supplements out there.Originally Posted by calstate23
supplements are meant to work regardless what you're on, except of course if you are on meds that conflict with certain supplements. for example you can't take L-Arginine while on blood thinners. so basically you need to plan your supplements in conjunction with your meds.
I'm just wondering though...
Would gh, T3 or test make a difference how I metabolize supps?
Interesting question... I have actually stopped taking all supps besides whey protein and a few others because I feel it's a waste of money. But if you are on cycle and can impact your gains a great deal, then I'd love to hear that. For now I am sticking to my whey and liver protection only.
No one need supps....NO ONE needs protein shakes...It's a lie and it's a joke....
AAS and food...That's it....
Supps are fake...
You're a very weird man.Originally Posted by calstate23

Why would anyone contribute to this thread in a serious manor?
You didn't start this with the intent to educate, inform or discuss. Your intention was to start arguing with people over the 'fakeness' of supplements.
I don't put protein powder in the same category as supplements because it's not. It's just food. The way it's marketed is a lie but it's still just food and easy food.
Now most of the supplements out there, on cycle or not is not going to change if they're worthless or the greatest thing in the world or anything in between.
In my opinion, good supplements that are worth taking any time:
Fish Oil
Vitamin D
Liver Support
Primrose Oil (I like it when dieting)
Also Juice Plus, I took this stuff for about 4 or so years. It's very over priced in some ways and there are generics available now but during that 4yr period I never even got a single cold. Coincidence? Maybe but seems doubtful.
That's the wrong attitude, brother. Debating in an educational manor is very different to arguing for the sake of it.Originally Posted by calstate23

I would add a proviso to your above statement(s). Supplements may be unnecessary IF (and this is a really big if) someone is eating correctly and consuming appropriate levels of nutrients, minerals, vitamins, and so forth. Among people who have made fitness (cardio and strength training) their lifestyle (not a hobby) and whom have learned to eat correctly AND prepare food properly (and not cook away all the nutritive value), then yes, perhaps vitamins and other supplements are unnecessary.Originally Posted by calstate23
The sad reality however, is that the vast majority of people do NOT eat correctly or follow a healthy lifestyle. Even the food sold in grocery stores is often over processed or cultivated in ways that deplete the nutritive value of food. Take a look at blood work in even healthy people and I guarantee you'll see lower values of calcium, vitamin K, vitamin D, magnesium, and potassium in far too many people. It's becoming pandemic and the medical community doesn't have a concrete explanation, but, believe our substandard food chain is partly to blame.
So, I would advise caution when saying supplements are unnecessary. Many doctors would agree, but the majority of those people wouldn't know what healthy eating was if you asked them to explain or define it. True, supplements can be harmful when abused, but a blanket statement that supplements are fake and unnecessary would be true, IMO, if and only if the quality of the food we eat improves and the majority of people become more active and less sedentary.

I don't understand. You're saying vitamins are fake, but steroids somehow make them real?

Well if you read my story on T3 and how it interacts with other hormones then you might understand....
My whole point is that without "steroids" or hormones your body CAN NOT metabolize it to make it effective...Or should I say put it to ACTUAL USE...It's a WASTE PRODUCT
You will NOT get vitamins from a pill WITHOUT A DOUBT GUARANTEED

Please explain to me how I'm wrong that vitamins and "supps" mean nothing....
Interesting, I am going to tell my wife's doc he is a fool for putting prenatal vitamins, if they don't work then what's the point. One question though, if our body can not metabolize vitamins, what can it metabolize? I was under the impression that the stomach and digestive tract function is just that, among other things too...etc.?

Then an oral steroid is completely ineffective???
