So CWF is the 'best of the worst' and they only spent 10.8% on 'the cause'. Shameful.

Everyone knows these types of charities are out there but what's surprising to me is some of these are large well known respected organizations. Or at least they were.

Large contributors to political parties which is why this is allowed to go on. I always used to say I wonder what the ceo of red cross drives.
Years ago I met some guy that did some sort of telethon for cancer. We were looking to use his set up for our business a couple of nights a week and he was bragging how much they can spend and what they can keep. My partner at the time mother died from cancer. Needless to say that never panned out. Unfortunate people get rich off others hard work and sympathy. Only in America

As Rwy stated most charities are nothing more than lobby groups. I was glad to see that the MS society wasn't listed. It's the only charity I give to.
