The new season of Walking Dead starts tonight on AMC.
-Anyone watch the show?
-Predictions of the upcoming season and who do you think is going to die?
-Are you happy with the story line thus far?
-Do you think the governor is going to make another appearance?
Time for discussion!

I'm a huge fan! Will be watching tonite. Don't have time to type predictions but the previews look good. I heard they brought back some of the best writers from prior seasons

How many seasons in is it already? I've seen 3, is there a 4th?

From the preview it appears someone is sabotaging the prison which would lead me to believe it's the governor but I think that would be to simplistic for the show. (I do believe he will be back this season)
It looks like there is going to be a lot of conflict amongst the new residents of the jail and Ricks crew.
It looks like Rick possibly develops a relationship with someone and the overall theme of the season will be relationships ruined by deaths from walkers or other prisoners.
This is who I predict is going to die this season
-Hershel
-Glen
-Tyreese's wife
-Maggie's little sister
-I hope Carl does because I can't stand him lolLast edited by Venom; 10-13-2013 at 01:22 PM.

Can't wait. I love that series.

Season 3 really disappointed me except for two episodes which was Rick seeing Morgan again and Deryl redeeming himself.
That said the guy that wrote those episodes will be doing most of season 4 so I have some hope.

I thought season 3 was much better than 2. Know nothing about the comics though, I know some people already know pretty much what is going to happen because of them.
Governor will definitely make an appearance, that hasn't been wrapped up IMO.

The wife & I had a group of friends over for a season premier party . We even had Zombie themed drinks & snacks , it was a blast. The show was great . I like that "crazy Rick" is gone (so far) he was quite a downer last season. Saved My cheat day for today for it even. Looks to be a good season from the preview. They for-shadowed a bit too much with the "guy" who got caught under the shelf IMO. I am a huge fan so Ill be watching for more threads on this.

SPOILERS****************
So is there some air borne infection now. You saw that guy at the gate with the bloody eyes and the kid that died at the end. The pig sick could be something different or same thing but could that be some deflection by the writers. The beginning was a nice touch. Make you think everything was normal and then once the head phones come off and you here all the walkers you realize you are back in hell.
I thought the super market scene was clever. The dynamic of new relationships are odd but I get it. Part some ceesey moments but all in all it wasnt bad. I have low expectations after 3. Watched first season again last night and it was special. The really screwed up getting rid of darabont.

When that woman all of a sudden decided to sprint for Rick my adrenaline just went through the roof and my heart was beating out of my chest. Scared the **** out of me haha.
As far as the kid dying in the shower.. I don't know if it's an airborn virus or if it's the watersupply or what. It's definately related to pig. I'm thinking maybe the pigs they ate had eaten some zombie corpses or something... who knows but what confuses me is howcome the others haven't died from this infection if that's the case? Maybe it only effects those with compromised immune systems or people with open wounds or something. Also I think that black guy is an alcoholic or something, maybe that will play out later on in the show.
Don't know if you guys saw the preview for the next episode but it shows a flashlight being shine at the walkers who are at the gate and then someone feeds them a rat/mouse. I'm thinking it's probably one of the kids, probably the little girls who were naming the walkers.

Yea I think that guy def had a drinking problem.
I was a little blitzed when I saw it last night. What a putz, its def probably the water supply!

The water supply would make sense because it showed Rick in the beginning washing his face and taking a sip of water from the outside water supply. That may insinuate Rick may start to get sick throughout the season and possibly die at the end? I can't see that happening because the entire series seems to revolve around him and to kill off a character that strong would be a bit drastic. That leads me to believe the water in the shower was tainted because the scene where Hershel was telling Rick he has to clean up and look the part shows that Rick has possibly never used the shower? How the actual shower water got tainted is another question?
We already know the virus is "air born" in the sense that everyone already has it in them and when they die they come back as a walker. Whether or not that has now mutated to the point where people randomly start to turn is another possibility.
The pig eating a zombie corpse is an interesting view point and certainly a possibility.

IMO they would have been better off having a herd of zombie ran sack the prison and killed everyone and started from scratch lol
Can you imagine how up in arms people would be having a shit if you killed them all off....

Don't forget about that dead deer in the woods that the crazy bitch was gonna eat. I think all the animals have a sickness. Daryl licked his fingers before shaking that kids hand in the begging too.

Don't know. I wish they would get out of the prison. I liked it better when they were on there own or had something to fight against. They need to move the story along.

Maybe something drastic will happen to Rick this season like Carl or his daughter dies, or perhaps a new love interest dies and Rick will think back to this lady and maybe contemplate killing himself?

Also..... Rick tricked her. She was talking about statues at the airport an he said he's been there and remembers the statues of kids playing or whatever. I think he faked that to see her response. She said she saw those..... And he knew she was trying to trick him.
He should have killed her then and there but the writers didn't write that so we could see how fvcked up people have gotten.

I think Rick is developing feelings for michone

Great observation above Haz, you are right about portraying how bad it has gotten on the "outside".
I agree I think he is developing some feelings for Michonne.

Idk if that was an intentional slip up from Andrew Lincoln or by accident but he made it sound like something develops between Rick and Michonne.
On a side note I didn't know he is English so when he started to talk I was like wtf lol

Okay episode so far. The fence situation pisses me off. They should be controlling those things daily if not more frequently

Ok who killed the two that were sick? They killed themselves? I doubt it..... You'd shoot yourself before lighting yourself on fire.
Tyreses sister? That's my guess..... He won't exact revenge on her.

Initially I was thinking she almost felt that the zombies were hungry so she was feeding them. If it's not her..... Then someone is sabotaging them. That's a good question.
I hated the fact that Rick had to burn his shirt lol. Then again this is a rebirth for Rick. He's comin back as their leader. He gave Carl his gun back..... He put his holster back on..... Ricks back.

I hated watching the pigs get cut lol! I'm still out whether its the food or not. If its not..... They just destroyed their protein. Then again..... The one pig was sick. It's a little obvious unless they're trying to fool us.
