She still has a lot of family left in VN and for those of you who haven't seen what it's like living in desolate conditions, you may very well be shocked. It's unpleasant to say the least.

    Healthcare is a big concern there. Last week, her 65 year old had aunt, had a severe stroke. She was unable to speak or move. She was rushed to hospital but was left unattended for THREE days until the family could come up with enough money for her treatment, and there she would have stayed on that table until the money was given to the hospital to triage and care for her.

    Yes it is. I'm hoping to have the privilege of going back to VN in a few years and spend some time providing healthcare and food in some of the under serviced areas where the level and extent of poverty is heart breaking.
