Can some one explain the bullshit that is Obama Care to me. Who does it benefit and how will it **** me?

The only people it will benefit in my mind are the people that have existing conditions. Those people will pay less under Obamacare than it cost them before. The bad part is everybody else will pay more.
I started to write a post a couple of times, but couldn't quite get it right.
Post #3 pretty much covers it.
"EVERYONE will get health care and it really won't cost anything"
And one more..

Wow, that sounds like a totally unbiased position that you have taken there.
Anyway, insurance companies will not be able to deny you coverage for any reason under the Affordable Care Act, even using illegal substances without medical supervision. Now I don't know who here does that, but it might be good for you.
Come on this is the fourth thread on this.
Hell, even liberal papers are calling it a farce. That's just how bad it is so far.

Well even the left ring news stations are reporting on all the lies and misdirection as well as over the top cost of obamacare such as CNN, NBC & CBS so its not like its only fox calling foul. They just called it first. I guess that makes them future tellers since it wasn't current? No they just saw past the smoke and mirrors.

SMH... I dont follow politics and think theyre all a bunch of liars and thieves, snakes, and pieces of shit. I have no confidence in our political system. I have no confidence in our govt.
i think we have no means of stopping whatever is going to take place. I think anyone who says: " sure u can vote" needs to go stick their head back in the sand.
I think Our top govt officials are ballplayers and theyre all cashing in. All those deemed "non-ballplayers" are weeded out and excluded from the top.
However, i have never once heard bill oreilly say something i thought was dumb. If he ran for an office i might even vote for him.
Well, Harvard and most of the political world would say otherwise. Maybe you can start a tv show and give us your political insight or publish some of your opinions or write a book or three? Or maybe contact his show and debate him. That would be interesting.
Here's this "slackers" bio:
Bill O'Reilly heads arguably the best known, most written about, and most discussed cable news program around. "The O'Reilly Factor" on the Fox News Channel is certainly the most watched; it has been #1 in the ratings for more than 280 weeks, and is also seen in more than 30 countries. During its 11 years on the air, "The O'Reilly Factor" has developed a unique blend of news analysis and investigative reporting, and the No Spin Zone is sought out and appreciated by millions of people every weeknight.
More than five years ago, "The Radio Factor" also took to the air. For two hours each weekday, involved folks, listening now on more than 400 stations, call in to participate in timely debates, and the show has become one of the most successful radio franchises in the nation.
Bill O'Reilly writes, too. All four of O'Reilly's non-fiction books have perched atop The New York Times bestseller list; O'Reilly Factor for Kids was top selling children's non-fiction book in 2005 and Culture Warrior, in paperback placed in the Times' top ten list it's first week of release. Bill's most recent book is Kids Are Americans Too, a thoughtful, plain talking examination and discussion of youngster's rights and responsibilities under the Constitution.
In addition to his books, O'Reilly's syndicated column appears in more than 300 newspapers across the nation. Every week the column is made available in advance of publication at BillOReilly.com, and through the website's newsletter.
O'Reilly started his on-air career in Scranton, Pennsylvania and then moved on to local reporting and anchoring stints in other cities including Dallas, Boston and New York. He took on network reporting responsibilities with CBS and ABC News and then was named host of the first version of the nationally syndicated "Inside Edition." He arrived at Fox News in 1996. Along the way, he's won many journalism awards, including 2 Emmys.
Bill O'Reilly was born in Manhattan, and raised on Long Island. His Bachelor's Degree is in History from Marist College, and he has a Master's in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University and another Master's Degree in Public Administration from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
In his spare time, Bill O'Reilly used to say he "took naps." That was back when he had any spare time.

His "news" program is like a tv show. If it had to be labeled it would fall under the bad comedy genre.
Realist: A person who sees things as they truly are. A practical person. The pessimist complains about the wind; The optimist expects it to change; The realist adjusts the sails. — William Arthur Ward
Good idea (needed idea) poorly executed...
It's very simple... Obama himself comes to your house and takes your guns away from you.
here we go again. Just don't take my weights away obuma.
And by that he means your gym membership will get cancelled and you'll have to pay double what you pay now and go to planet fitnessOriginally Posted by Fcastle357

IIRC, he states regularly that his show is an opinion based show, NOT NEWS.
I've stopped watching all politcal programming and my blood pressure has dropped as a result. But what Billy O used to say, again iirc, that what grinds him is the so called "NEWS" being hijacked by liberal commentary.
I think Shep does 'the news', no opinion. Bret Baier with Special Report is news for a half hour then they do the panel which obviously turns into opinion.
But getting back to Billy. He doesn't have a news show nor does he claim to.

if you look at what's happening, there can be no other explanation except that the purpose of the ACA is not to fix the system, but to systemically crash it so it's unrecoverable. Insurance providers will gladly play along because they'll make obscene profits in the short term and get cushy, exorbitant government jobs in the long term when the government says, "Oh, whoops, it didn't work. Guess we'll just take it all over and move to fully socialized medicine. Get ready to stand in line, wait for treatment and be rationed out of qualifying for care."
This is all exactly out of the playbook of the original community organizer whose network Obama came up in as a community organizer himself. That organizer was Saul Alinsky and he wrote a book, "Rules for Radicals". Everything President Obama is doing is a play right out of that playbook.
You need to understand what these people are about. Many on the left sincerely care about people and want fairness and people to be taken care of. But the leadership pushing this through really doesn't care about people. At least not in the short term. They only care about class warfare. Seriously. Obama served in this network. You need to read the quotes. Then the problems with the ACA being implemented will all make sense."

Speaking of ObamaCare I though this was good.

So my gf looked up a plan on the obamacare site. The cheapest coverage leaves a $6,000 deductible every year lol. Not $1500 or $2500 like she used to have. $6,000 fvcking dollars.
