    Wear your poppy proud today.

I know we have many different things to say thanks for today but one always sticks in my head. My grandfather was on the beaches of Normandy on June 6. D Day. Thanks to all you crazy americans that were right beside us Canadians on this important day in our history. If you are too young to know about this day you should take 20 minutes and google it. We could have grown up in a different world if not for people like my pops and yours.

The little widow lady next door passed away a few years back. She always sold me poppies. I don't see many doing that any longer. Sad how quickly we forget!

Our local VFW sells poppies every year to the local businesses to display.
God bless all of the soldiers that have fought to make this country a safe place to live.

They sell Poppy plants? As in Papaver Somniferum? Lol, possession of even one poppy bulb is a class I felony under Federal law.
