I went to buy the new COD game today but held off because I think I may buy the new PS4 tomorrow night instead.

PC. Free online and free games (if you know where to look). There's a guy that literally uploads new games the day of their original release.

Consoles aren't made like they used to be. After both Microsoft and Sony had hardware problems the last go around, there's no way I'd shell out the money. Plus, I'm not sure if it was a problem with Sony as well, but the last two COD games (MW3 and BO2) lagged really bad on XBOX live. Part of that problem is because of not enough dedicated servers, among other things.

I'm leaning more towards the XBone1, only cause of Killer Instinct.

I would strongly advice against getting either of these launch day, i'm already hearing problems with the PS4 and glitches, bugs and what not.

They will also likely be considerably cheaper in January.

Just had a company install a new 4k 3D tv in my bedroom. Told me their PS4 launch sold out all units by 11AM today!!!!

Yeah, I heard the same thing about the PS4. But that goes with the consoles all the time, the first couple production runs always have problems. But then after all the complaints, they'll fix them. It sucks that they're charging people $500 so that they can beta test their product.

Games like fighters, fps and rts games are all about reactions. Yeah you can be smart and break down the game, frame by frame but you don't need to be a genius to be competitively good at games.

And yeah, Killer Instinct 3 looks completely badass. Chief Thunder looks brutal!

If you have a n64, get the 5meg ram cartridge and purchase Perfect Dark and Turok 2! Doom 64 was epic as well.

When I do get one of the new systems, it will definitely be the PS4. It is $100 cheaper and has slightly superior architecture. I don't plan to get it for a while though. When video game consoles are first released, there are always a myriad of issues that are associated with it (e.g. Ring of Death for the 360, the current issues in the PS4, etc.). I also don't play video games as much as I used to; therefore I won't get it until a video game comes out that I REALLY want (e.g. Grand Theft Auto VI).

I am a closet video game nerd, lol. If I had the time, I would play video games for hours every day. Once I really get into a game, I don't even want to get up and eat. It is pretty pathetic actually. I intentionally didn't bring my PS3 when I went to college for fear that it would affect my studies.

I am finally going to purchase an hdtv though, so I will finally be able to enjoy Grand Theft Auto V. I am sure I will be craving to play that game while at work. I played a few hours of it already, but I have been pretty busy lately to play it more than that.

My all-time favorite video games and series are the following (in no particular order):

Grand Theft Auto, Resident Evil (the first and fourth one), Bioshock, The Last of Us, the aforementioned GoldenEye, Skyrim, and Mario.

If you have an n64 keep it mint for another 30 years and you'll probably be able to retire off it lol.

I go into local game stores all the time and quite often they have games that sell on Ebay for 200 bucks and they are selling them for 10 at these game stores.

Yeah, I remember that gun. When scoped you would see the heat index of other players. Really cool.

Where you get the PC games from?

Most of them are downloadable content now through either steam or Origin. I used to be a console user but the only game I play now is battlefield so I made the change to pc gaming. I was able to get bf4 downloaded and installed before the launch day. Origin let us that had purchased it start playing 3 hrs before the stores launched the game! Couldn't be happier with making the change to pc gaming. You just have to have a pretty powerful pc but I always do anyway
