Year old boy child i need your help. Im looking after my sisters kid and I'm having trouble feeding him. He just wont eat he reckons his not hungry its been over a day and he has not eaten anything. Should i just force food down his neck and hold his mouth shut so he swallows it? Have any of you parents had this problem before? Is this normal with Kids? And another thing how the hell does a 6 year old who would have low t and no food in him have the energy to just run around screaming all day?

Reminds me of my little brother. He eats a lot when he's outside playing all day. When he's at home watching TV all day, he won't eat much at all. Unless it's chips, candy, or soda.

I agree with most everyone, he will eat when he is hungry. Dont offer him candy or something like that or he will know he won and hold out for junk food. Offer good food or at the least peanut butter and jelly sandwich or something.

Take him outside and do something, go for a walk, run, rid bikes or go shopping at the mall. Buy him a hot dog maybe. Dont let him just sit in front of the TV or on a computer.

My daughter was strange. I remember when she was 4 of 5 at a friends birthday party. I was the only dad there (single dad) with about a dozen mothers and my daughter was looking for some food. They kept offering her birthday cake, chips, cookies and she kept turning them down. When they asked her what she wanted she said Carrots, celery, fruit... You should have seen the look on the mothers faces. Several asked me how I did that and if I would baby sit their little monsters. lol
