    Today at the Gym....

    There was the obligatory hot chick in her yoga pants doing the stair master....
    There was my favorite Asian man, in his hot pink shorts and belly shirt
    There was a seriously overweight man wearing orange dayglow shorts that left NOTHING to the imagination.....

    1. I used 1 as motivation
    2. I said hello to another
    3. I dropped a weight set laughing....

    ^^ oh hell ya they will be pouring thru the doors slobbing up the uquipment talking on the cell, sitting on benches, using equipment for a coat rack, the good news is it lasts a month then drops off quick

    Apparantly the leg press excersice a shoulder press too bc I've seen guys do it.

    God I do not miss this crap. I love my gym. Its a total dungeon. I've only ever seen a handful of skinny beach boys and they aren't members for long. nobody talks to anyone. Occasionally I'll see the obligatory overweight pt screaming at his client as if they were making a blood and guts video but I can leave and go back later because its 24 hour access.

    I really hate the overtly loud screamers who only do it for dramatic effect. they look like complete fools. I'm afraid they exist in every gym I've ever been to.

    Now dont laugh too loud, I feel like a land fish sometimes only bc I am learning. I actually pull up YouTube vids and sometimes I watch you guys from afar but your too damn efficient. I figure it out eventually. The little pics on machines help a lot. Hahahahaha.

    I for one get some of my best growth during January. Sure I have my favorite exercises and I have at times fallen into a rut of doing the same exercises day in and day out. The resolutioners force me to adapt and do different exercises because I don't want to wait around for a particular piece of equipment.

    Now I do remain calm and adapt pretty well for the most part but if it's leg day and the gym is full and you're doing curls in the ONLY squat rack we"re going to have a little talk.

    I laugh to myself, not out loud, lol. You strike me as someone who wouldn't be afraid to ask how to use the equipment GGR. I'm sure there would be plenty of guys offering to help! I used to step in and ask new members if they wanted any help. Most people said no or gave me a dirty look so now I mind my own business. lol

    I normally do ask for help/directions in other situations. But at the gym I already feel like a piece of filet mignon (not like the ugly gals the guys are bagging in the Marcus's lounge thread to hit the 100 club lol).

    It's the settings that mess me up. And since I am a bit smaller, sometimes those pegs haven't been moved in sooooo long, they get stuck in the guy position. I am sure most guys would help bit I asked one seemingly nice guy and he liked to know my life history. I could hardly get rid of him.....

    LMAO......that reminds me of another thread here about picking up girls in the gym. I just don't have that mentality. Partly because I'm shy, but mostly because I go to the gym to work my ass off and not troll for women. Sure, I notice them, but not once have I ever approached a female in the gym to talk to her. I do see a lot of guys trying to move in on women at the gym. I just shake my head, laugh a little, and carry on with my own business. My wife gets bothered by guys from time to time. She tries to keep herself covered as much as possible. Apparently, fake breasts and tattoos on women is a signal to come and flirt with them (according to the way some guys behave). She usually ignores them or walks away from them but occasionally she gets one guy that's a nuisance and won't take the hint. That's when she comes looking for me in the gym.

    Starting on the 2nd they will come in a wave. Sit on all of the equipment stare at the regulars who are in shape tie up the crossovers by using just one side although there are 3 single cable setup a to chose from.
    Come in reeking of cologne and or perfume. Like clock worm they leave and all returns to normal.

    had 3 idiots in designer sweats hog a squat machine for an hour.
    They started at 20 lbs and was trying to work their way up to 400 lbs.

    I had to recently change the time I go to the gym in the morning because of one man. He runs on the treadmill and bangs his feet so loud when he runs that I cant even keep from hearing it with my headphones blasting. It is so annoying and I cant believe his knees haven't just exploded already.
