Why exercise almost ALWAYS makes you FATTER
I am a frequent reader of anything exercise related and I hate how so many companies to try fool the uneducated into buying their crap. I wont mention the company, but I actually received an email this morning that said in the subject line-
Why exercise almost ALWAYS makes you FATTER! OMG, this crap really drives me crazy. So all you who want to lose a few pounds and are exercising to get there, this company figured out your problem! Stop exercising and just start taking their magic pills and you can sit back and relax and just wait to look great! Your perfect body is just around the corner. Maybe I should read the article because they might have combined their magical elixir with Nachos and melted cheese. Mmmmm.
I remember several years ago there was a commercial on television and they were actually selling pills called "Exercise in a bottle." I thought I was watching a spoof add on Saturday Night Live, until I paid more attention and realized they were serious! Ugh!

Well there is some truth to what they are saying for most people. How often do you see someone fat who starts a membership at a gym and jumps right into weight training. After a few weeks they step on the scale and notice they weigh more and eventually give up.
Why do they weigh more? They have added some muscle but they have not done any cardio, very little and usually no diet change so they really have not lost any fat, only gained some muscle. Adding more muscle under the fat makes you look even fatter.
These people usually have no will power and give up easily so they don't keep at it long enough to see any results and just figure it's not going to work for them probably because the have the fat gene or obesity disease......
Dont get me wrong now, I'm no saying whatever they are selling will work by any means. I have no doubt whatever it is is nothing more than snake oil.Last edited by lovbyts; 01-13-2014 at 09:26 AM.

Yeah, I get what you are saying and that certainly makes sense. But I read their article and they are just trying to sell a hunger inhibitor. Their point was that when people work out they get more hungry and if they eat poorly they will become fatter. It still pissed me off though as I felt like they are steering people in the wrong direction. I believe eating better and exercising should be foundation for any weight loss protocol over any supplement some company is trying to sell.

Dont worry to much about it. The only reason most of those people are steered in the wrong direction is because they are looking for the easy way out and even if it did work they would not be happy, they would still not be satisfied and complain.
Anyone who is truly looking for a way to loose weight and get into shape will find the right direction to go. I'm sure a lot of us could be a lot richer if we were willing to be unscrupulous like most of these snake oil salesmen.

Well you have to be more than unscrupulous to be able to pull it off. Being a good scheister is an art form. If a regular guy with questionable morals decided to start pimping some snake oil he made in his bath-tub, he'd fall on his face trying to do it. In a way, I really kind of admire the skill-sets the bullshit artists have that can pull off a small fortune in this billion dollar industry.

Sometimes when I see before and after pics I think they are switched around. They used to look great and are now extremely overweight; then take the after pic and try to sell their amazing transformation to advertisers! Ha ha.

This is about as close as one can get with sex in a bottle. It's a fleshlight. And it doesn't even require batteries. Just slide it on the man shaft and stroke away. Looks like it might be a pain to clean up afterwards though. And I wouldn't recommend loaning it out either unless you like sloppy seconds.

Havent you seen how those adds are made? There was a documentary from one of the top photographers a while back who came forward about it. You are not far off on your suspicions. Most of the pictures are taken the same day. They get someone in GOOD shape who has dieted down for the photo shoot, then after the shoot they drink a bunch of water and eat carbs. Add a little airbrush and you have instant 90 days before and after pictures. lol
Ha I knew someone would eventually post something like that. Yeah I have read enough porn mags in the past (before the internet) and enough surfing to know about fleshlights. I would lean more towards the Japanese dolls if I was going to get something like that.
Luckily I have the real life version of one of these. Now if I only had the remote with the off switch.Last edited by lovbyts; 01-15-2014 at 03:09 AM.

Thanks for posting that, it is funny as hell. I had no idea. I have seen some ads that are so bad, like when they are taking wrinkles off women eye's for wrinkle cream and they also take off their moles. Lol. Or they zoom in a little bit and you can just see them squinting more.
