So, last night my wife had a sex toy party which is all good. However, I ended up spending 7 hours cleaning the house from floor to ceiling yesterday and when she gets home she doesn't even comment on how nice the house looked or anything. She thanked me 45 minutes after she got home and she knew I spent the entire day cleaning everything, doing all the dishes and doing 7 loads of laundry.

Then, to top things off I had to work because she invited all my employees over which I'm fine with but she never thanked me for going in an extra day. Then, I was not able to bring my son home because of the party and had to stay at work for an extra 2 hours. I was finally about to bring him home 4 hours into it but we had to go right upstairs and I was not allowed to come down. My wife comes up and asks why I'm aggravated and I tell her because I feel like a prisoner in my own house and that she never even thanked me for all the sacrifices I made so she could have this stupid party. She throws an attitude and then slams the door on me.

Needless to say I'm pissed off and she thinks I'm over-reacting. I told her I simply felt used and that she didn't appreciate everything I did for her to have the stupid party.

Do I have a right to be pissed off?

Let me clarify the last statement. YOU should have not done any of the prep or cleaning after the party that you are not allowed to attend.

If my wife wants a sex toy party it means WE are going to lovers package store or shopping online together.

Don't do it again. Turn around is also fair play but do it a boys night out, not stuck at home.

Personally I would not allow anything like that. Tupperware ok, Avon ok, maybe a crystal party but anything with the word sex I had better be 100% involved in.
