Glutamine
Some one once told me that Glutamine makes up 40% of muscle. First off is that true? And secondly will supplementing with high amount of glutamine make your muscles look more full(like a creatine affect) or just aid in recovery

protein is made up of amino acids, and glutamine is but one of those amino acids. the 40% seems high. too lazy to look it up now.
I think everyone at one time or another experiments with this amino acid. Most discontinue use, not due to cost, but really more of a lack of benefit. I would say the benefit is marginal at best.

Pretty good write up on it in Austinite's Amino Acid thread in the Nutrition section. Its down kind of toward the bottom (below the chart).

The only thing I have found this good for is the heartburn taking tren induces. I speculate this is due to the fact that hi quantities of glutamine are resent in the stomach and tren is so anabolic it depletes this glutamine. Supplementing with 15-20mgs/day removes the acid reflux i get while taking tren. Otherwise we get plenty from food and our protein shakes as far as muscle requirements imo.

I just ordered a bunch of Aminos not to long before this post. From what I am hearing I wasted my money

For what its worth, I was under the impression its muscle sparring.
When I went from 18% bf to 8%? bf, I used 15-20g of Micronized Glutamine daily.
5g upon waking, 5g with pre-workout, 5g post-workout, 5g bedtime in casein shake.
Not positive it was part of the reason why but I love it and continue to take it.
