I met the coolest old dude while I was there. He was a retired tour guide and offered to show me around. It ended up being a three day tour and I couldn't believe how cool he was. I think he missed his youth and just had so much knowledge to share that he appreciated how much I cared about what he knew. It was about 20 years ago, so I doubt he is even alive, but I will always remember what a nice guy he was. Greece is beautiful. Have fun.
