They do it's called Physique class.
At 6' 2" 235 Arnold would be right in the hunt in the Physique class going up against Jeff Said and such.
I was in this very discussion the other day with someone making fun of the Physique class. He just so happens to be a big fan of Arnold and I pointed out his stats and they lined up with physique he kinda shut up. And before you go saying physique is a bunch of no squatting chicken legs I think I heard the IFBB pro division is moving to box shorts and showing off the wheels.

Franco had an amazing build.. He's my favorite old timer. I'm a short guy at 5'6'', and he is 5'5'' so I always aspired to look like him.

Franco for width and dense muscle mass imo great great physique, I like arnies shape, tbh compared to the modern physique classes he just looks bigger if that makes any sense at all.
Since jay retired he actually looks an awful lot better imo

Def, most of the 90's bber's still look great today imo even with some of them hitting their mid 50's, Kevin Levrone is great too and the transformation in the ladt few years of him is great

I'm not saying Seid would win but Arny isn't standing a chance against 5' 10" jay cutler at 280. In his prime if he were to step on stage today Arnold would compete in the physique class. That class is much more about looks as compared to overall bulk. And compare Said at 20 to Arnolds 20 and you'll see similarities.

Agree on the Cutler comparison but disagree on putting him the physique class. I've yet to see one of those guys comparable to Arnold, or any pro BB-er for that matter. From what I've seen, physique competitors can get punished for "to much muscle." Both at 20 years of age, Arnold had massive muscle, Seid is just cut. To each his own I guess.

he should probably still be competing in the Mr O, he just wouldn't win it so many times.

anyone got any idea what is Seid's competition stats?
-
01-21-2014, 09:36 PM #24
i could not find a lot about seids stats but i found his chest at 44" and ive seen arnolds chest at 58"..
i mean cmon, were comparing jeff seid to arnold now?? seriously?
235 may be light but back then they did not have the leg size or the trunk thickness we see today. personally i think they looked a lot better back then.

Im sorry im a little nieve in this subject. ..but isnt the difference between Arnolds time and now days....HGH. isnt that why todays BB have the "turtle shell look"?. If im right I just dont see a comparison. And putting seid or any other astheic look into the convo is absurb.

I doubt its even that big....seid is around 170lbs give or take. He's a very small guy...if u see a pic of him appearing large its mos definately shopped.
Here's a good one. Just looked at his profile on bb.com and he lists himself at 205 and 5%..lol
I scanned through a couple of posts and all I could find was "urmirin" and "brah"...I just shake my headLast edited by Cuz; 01-21-2014 at 10:07 PM.

Yes I always liked are and lot Ferrigno way more than today's bb, not taking anything away from today's bb they put in hard work to get that huge.
