Anyone ever have this

I have had some sort of lung infections going on a month. It seems to be clearing up though. The problem is for the last few days when i cough, i can taste chlorine or bleach. This is a weird question but was just wondering why I would taste bleach after coughing?

Not on anything. No heartburn. Only thing I take is omeprazole. Been taking for a long time because of too much acid.

AH hah! My point! Acid reflux (GERD) can cause a chronic cough type of situation that resembles bronchitis. Does the coughing persist throughout the day? Is it worse in the morning? Does it go away at night?

^^^This is where I would start. Sore throat, foul breath, and coughing are often mistaken for other maladies. Acid reflux can be brought on by many things including:

1. Nutrition. High protein diets increase stomach acidity.
2. Eating times. Meals after 7PM or within 3-4 hours of sleeping can increase acidity and when laying down, the acidity will "reflux" up the esophagus and may spill into the trachea.
3. Hormones. Our hormones control digestion. Anabolics will (1) disrupt the fine balance of stomach flora (bacteria) and (2) increase gastric motility.
