I wonder if we are a sociology experiment for Austinite's school work...
During my MBA program, our marketing instructor used the class to test marketing ideas her advertising company was developing...

Would you have a friend who would kill someone unjustly? If I had a friend that killed someone, I would be pretty sure that that person had it coming.
So my answer would be absolutely not! Dont speak to police for any reason.

I would tell the police (with my attorney present) that I didnt see anything at all, but I heard my friend begging for his life. By the time I was there, the act had already taken place.
If anything, that would hopefully give your friend the opportunity for a much better deal from the DA.

I'd follow my own moral judgement. If the killing was based on greed then I'd turn my friend in. Disrespected I'd turn him in. Killed his dog.....beat the killers ass. Killed his sister.....burry the killers ass. If the situation is more on the downlow side of course. I've been in trouble with the law many times. I'm a good hearted person that generally loves to help people, but every judge, District attorney, lawyer......it's all greed in the justice system to them. They don't seem to wanna follow the correct path. I've had judges tell me I'm guilty before putting my plea in. I would hate to say they are all the same, so I won't. I did meet one good lawyer once that represented me free. Anyways my point is I don't believe the justice system is on a good path and does not offer correct justice......sometimes maybe it might just be best to take things in your own hand if you have no doubt.

for me its simple: you know your best friend extremely well as I do mine. if he was to kill someone it was for a good reason and I would find out this reason later.
I would say nothing.
Being my best friend and I know who he is and his character I would trust his judgment for sure

I think Kel already touched on it but, put yourself in the position of the dead guys loved one. What if the person who was murdered was your wife, parent or sibling. Would those who suggested saying nothing shake the hand of the witness who remained quite for sticking to some BS street code of "honor".
Decaying society at it's best.

Lunk, I think the people saying they'd say nothing say that, because they know their friends would have reason to kill, not killing some innocent person. My best friend and I have been friends since we were 4, and even though he's not the brightest lol I could never see him killing anyone without reason. And just because it's 'murder', it sounds so bad, like when someone hears 'steroids ' they get a negative reaction. But there's a bunch of people that shouldn't live, say ppl living off the government faking disability ect. Just my opinion.
