Witnessed a Suicide
I was driving home from work and was going over a bridge and saw a kid, probably early teens, run towards the side of the bridge and roll off intentionally... a woman was screaming right beside my car as I passed, not many cars on the road because of the snow storm we're having... I think it was the kids mom screaming... couldn't believe I saw that... Doubt the kid survived, its a very large bridge. I'm thinking the kid jumped out of the car, happened so quickly... no more than 20 feet from me.
I'm assuming he didn't survive, its a large bridge...
RIP kid

Hoggage really sorry you had to see that brother. I couldn't imagine.
Hard to understand what could be that bad in life to take your own.

I can get why somebody would want to commit suicide, but why do these guys do it the most traumatic of ways? Do they really want the last moments of their life to be in fright of the end. I mean you got a few seconds when you jump off a tall bridge. That's pretty horrific to see the big hurt coming.

Man, sorry you had to witness that. Sadly enough my poor luck I've witnessed a lot of suicides in my younger day. It's hard to think what I could of done to of stopped it but they just happen so fast.

A good 15 years back my buddy and I were in my car at a stop light in front of a liquor store. We heard a car come screeching up and a guy jumps out and tackles this other guy on a bicycle. He then stabbed the guy a good 30 times before tiring out and just laid down on top of him in exhaustion. Shit made my stomach turn for days. It's one thing to see on TV, but in person, it's sickening.

Local news hasn't said anything yet... I don't think there are any suicide nets or anything around the bridge. I drive over it every day and people have jumped before, but never thought I would see it happen.
This is the bridge:

It sucks to see somthing like this. Don't think about it to much.
Often people will think they could have stopped it. Or changed the persons mind. You can't always be there .
Say a prayer for the family that's left behind.
