    Army / Navy Iron Man Suit

    No shit, the Army & Navy are actually testing an Iron Man suit.... Limited testing in combat could be 2-3 years away.

    Actually plastic armor has been used since WWII. The British put it on ships to stop armor piercing bullets and the even bolted it onto the Sherman tank to stop panzerfausts..
