So I've been saving since I can remember for a trip. I've never traveled alone and it kind of scares me to do so. But the purpose of this thread is to figure out a few good places in Europe to go to. I've traveled a lot in my younger years due to my dad's job, but this time I want to man up and do a trip on my own to some new soil.
Any ideas of where to go? I have a few places in mind like ibiza, Iceland, Norway,Finland, Ireland, Scotland.
Any suggestions

I was in Ibiza last summer. Actually going back for my bachelor party this year too but not going until September.

I traveled to London, and Madrid by myself and then met up with my friends in Ibiza. I almost went to Iceland but pulled the plug on it. I have heard its a weekend trip and pretty awesome. For me I would go to cities in Spain, Italy and Greece before some of the ones listed but to each his own!

Hoping for summerish area. Amsterdam was a blast wen I went 2 years back. I've been to Spain and Greece and pretty much every where in Asia, since I grew up in Singapore. Alaska is deferent ly on my to do list but I'll do that in the future for hunting.
The trip I am planning is mostly for sight seeing and some partying.

I heard they are ruthless to Americans. Had friends who they would not let into clubs. Told them it was closed while they let Germans in. Another group of friends got sold shit that made them all sick.

I have travelled to several dozen countries on my own over the course of many years. I have never been a culture vulture, but do enjoy what many places have to offer once I am there. If you can still get a Eurorail pass you can travel all over Europe and use the train as your hotel. You go to bed in one country and wake up in another. I think you have to be under 25 if I remember correctly or if nothing has changed. I had a great time doing that and it allowed me to stay in places I liked and leave places I disliked at the drop of a hat. You can even head down to Greece and dont forget to stop at Corfu. Have fun!

You had me at red head. I'll look Into Berlin. So far I've figured out is like to go to Ibiza for a week. This summer I'll be off to Australia, Bali, Singapore, Dubai. All places I've been before bit it should all be good fun.

I travel whenever I have such an opportunity. Italy is actually my favorite country for the food, culture and natural beauty. My favorite big city in the world is London and I made a promise to myself to go back every 2-3 years.

Would love to go back to Japan now that I’m not an extremely poor student. Would also love to go to Korea for a week.

For local trips, I love Santa Barbara, Palm Desert, SF and Carmel/Monterey. I always try to arrange my Travel Cost & Plan in advance . That helps me stay more organized.
