I can SO see myself doing that to someone. I would maybe bungi jump because I'm afraid of heights and yes feel like I would have a heart attach but that's what reminds you are still alive.

Its hard to tell if he had enough time to react or even see. I am afraid of heights too.

But that's what makes it fun/exciting. When I was a kid there was one tree I just could not climb. The first branch was about 30 feet up. I could climb the rope we threw over it and used as a rope swing up to that branch and climb onto it. After I got to that branch I just could not bring myself to go any further because there was nothing below me for 30 ft.

It took my almost 2 years before I finally got the nerve to go past that branch and once I had a few branches below me and could not see the ground I was fine. It was still a little scary once I got to the top it was another story because it was one of the tallest trees in the neighborhood and of course thin at the top and there was a risk of it breaking.

Still all that stuff is thrilling and gets the heart pumping. I have never parachuted either but I still hope to one day soon.

Your story brought me back to my days of tree climbing. Shit, that was the 70's.

I'm glad 90% of you are afraid of heights like me. Makes me feel better about my irrational fear.

LOL, I wonder what was holding the top on after it was cut. I have fallen many trees but luckily have never had an accident and somehow they always land where I want them to.

How would you like to be this guy. I bet his wife never let him live it down, and I dont blame her.

Damn I watched a bunch of these tree cutting fail videos. WTF, most of these guys have no idea how to cut a tree or how physics works. I'm thinking they need to require a license before you can purchase a chainsaw. Every one of these fail were obvious.

I won a free pass for a bungee jump with a video recording included. I had my ankles tied to the bungee and was preparing to jump from the platform but it was getting late and they said the video camera would not work well in the remaining light. I wanted to have good video so I opted to come back the next day. As I was leaving they suggest I jump on the scale to speed things up for tomorrow. Scale said 220 and they looked freaked out, said they had estimated me at 180 and were 2 bungees light for the jump I almost took towards the rocky river below. **** that! I gave the free pass to some German exchange student and never went back. Maybe when the thrill is gone it is tougher to chase that feeling of death and his buddies did him a favor? Would like to see the payback.

Why is it that everyone who has a chainsaw thinks that's all they need to cut down trees.Takes many years to be really good at it.I could have save that guy a lot of money by not destroying his home.Well now he has something to think about. Those guys who go up into those trees for a big company like that. They have a lot of training.A slight gust of wind can change where that tree will fall.

Another good tip, NEVER loan your chainsaw to anyone no matter who it is. I loaned my stil to a good buddy and didnt use it for about a year after. It wouldn't start. after taking it in they said it was obvios someone had ran straight gas in it and burned it up. Yeah I guess he wasnt that good of a buddy after all.
