    There is still a good ole mentality when it comes to cops more than most any industry left. I know a couple who have quit the force because there is almost no way to get ahead or promoted via work ethics and if you report any wrong doings by other officers you are made to be the black sheep even if it's something highly illegal.

    Cops like everyone are human and there are aholes in all walks of life and many will go to extremes to cover a mistake, even if it means destroying someone's else life. That is what makes it so bad and why the punishment does not meet the crime.

    I think things are changing but it's going to be a slow process but they don't have much choice thanks to video

    I like that news reporters act like they are amazed their is corruption in authority.

    This stuff angers me to the point of rage. This is why I would never be a cop. id be associated with people like this. This poor girl did nothing but tell the truth and he straight ****ed her.

    That's authority for you. What authoritative figure do you know that will ever admit guilt? I'd love it if our government would fess up when they screwed up.

    I hear ya man. It grinds my gears as well. What makes me even more upset is that our hands are tied and no one will ever do anything about it.
