    Ladies and Gentlemen,

One of my all time favorites is called "The Stand" by Steven King. It's a four (4) part mini series, made for TV, and very well done. Any of you Steven King fans? If so, and if you read this excellent book, then you will not be disappointed by the movie. It has Gary Sinise, Molly Ringwald, and a few others in there. It's a little older now, but still an excellent movie.

If you are a Steven King fan (he spells his name "Stephen", doesn't he?) and like these type of movies, this is a "must see" in my humble opinion.

I've watched that series 2x. It was ok. If you like Stephen King, then google "The Stand" and watch the movie. Netflix has it.

Lifeforce was a great 80's Vampire from Space flick that were to destroy the world.
Planet Of the Apes and the other ones . . . the Old ones
The Matrix - Just the First one.
The Andromeda Strain - the First one

That should cover each of my genres

The first of this type I remember.......Damnation Alley...Jan Micheal Vincent. Wow factor back then was high.

My favorite...Judge Dread (The most recent movie not the Stallone crap) I can watch this movie 500 x and not get bored of it.

The Matrix....pure gold. One of my top 10 of all time.

My overall favorite is Battlestar Galatica the 2004-09ish series. It is not earth per say but they find earth and it was nuked lol. I really love the first few seasons.

    LB,

Reading "Green Eggs and Ham" 7 or 8 times doesn't count....
....it has to be different books! =)

    So think....

    *Curious George
    *Green Eggs and Ham
    *Horton Hears a Ho
    *Sam I am

what are some of the others you've read over the years? =)

I love older, low-budget movies. I'm gonna check out this Damnation Alley. I've passed over the newer Judge Dredd as well. Looks like I'll have to give it a go.
