Red blood cells referred to phlebotomist .
Three weeks ago I had my check up with routine blood work red blood cells were at 55 . I was told to donate double rbc to help lower it. I felt better almost as soon as it was done. Had numbers rechecked docs office called today said still to high. Referring me to a phlebotomist . Do I talk to him about my steroid use . ?

Just donate more and dont go to the phlebotomist. You know why theyre high, you dont need a doctor to "diagnose" you

Only if you want it in your chart notes cor life, your insurance to find out and future employers possibly costing you a good job.
Dont be a fool and think it wont end up in there or be shared.

don't be fooled. ANYTHING you say to your doc will become a part of your permanent medical record. Do NOT tell him about your AAS use!
Donate Blood | Find a Local Blood Drive | American Red Cross
go here, find another blood drive, and do another 2x RBC donation.
And while you are at it, after you donate, start aspirin therapy. one baby aspirin (80mg) a day makes blood less "sticky" and reduces the problems and risks associated with high RBC

go to different blood drive companies until you get your levels in check, then donate every two month or as needed.

I am surprised Red Cross took your blood! my RBC were normal but my hemoglobin was a tad higher than normal, they rejected me and put me on the black list! what state you live in?

on the blood drives the Red Cross provides, are they connected to the internet? did they have computers there?
I plan on doing my regular donation at Delta blood (a permenant blood donation center) and red cross (a variable mobile donation drive), and between the two, I'll be donating every six weeks.
