    Audi R8 V10

Was away this weekend over to a friend who owns the above.

Very cool car, alot smaller in length than in pics etc in real life. This has the R tronic gearbox which is a single plate clutch like the 599 GTB I drove before. When up near the redline and you change gear its like a gun exploding at high revs really adds imo to the whole experience.

This car was nicely specced bang and oulfsen stereo and a cab too so with the top down the V10 sounded crazy humming and buzzing away when under acceleration and off thortle too.

The 4 Wd system is quite cool along with the traction systems on the car would leave a bitta slip so you can get it out but without being left out to dry etc.

Over all, before getting a spin in it was never really a fan of them but after a good day in it really really liked it comfortable on the rd and very flat in hard cornering too and stable also.

Compared to a Ferrari its not bad to service and run too according to the buddy every 5k for oil and every 12k for a service, he put new brake pads in it and didn't cost the world either.

Emm 140k sterling I think which is alot in dollars.

I assume he gets attention off women in the car but he bought it to drive it hard etc so not really a poser mobile

Nice car, but I really doubt that anyone who can afford that car cares about the cost to replace the brake pads.

I really enjoy my Z06, but the best thing is that I can change the pads and rotors in my driveway by myself in less than an hour. (What I did last weekend)

Driven a ZO6 friend has one cool car also.

Well incomparison to the superleggera gallardo he had they were half the price and considering the book value of the car they were relatively "cheap" compare them to italian exotica car parts and you could nearly describe them as affordable lol

Really great cars. I looked pretty hard at buying one but ended up getting married to a girl with kids; so I had to go for something with more room.
