I just finished sorting nearly 3 full 5 gallon buckets of .223 and .40 brass. Some of it is a mix of nickel as well. Its dirty range brass (meaning it still has the primers and needs cleaned and sized).

I'm curios if anyone has purchased any lately and knows what the current going rate is. Both brass and nickel. I'm planning to sell it and don't want to under or over price it.

i too am curious about it, i shoot 7.62 steel case mostly so i dont keep the casings but i keep my 9mm, 7.5x55 & 30-06 cases which are all brass

This is nearly 14,000 casings. I had a guy offer .05 per for the whole lot but I'm afraid it might be worth more in todays market. At the same time, I have no interest in prepping it so perhaps it's a fair offer??

Got it...thank you. That gives me an idea on the .40 and tells me to ask more for the nickel. Now I just need an idea of what the 223/5.56 is worth. It's NOT Mil surplus. Good brass.
