    Testosterone Questions

    - is free testosterone used up for initiating/maintaining erections?

    -do orgasms use up testosterone?

-where are key places in the body that contain androgen/testosterone receptors?

    - what causes androgen receptor upregulation and downregulation?

    thanks

What you need to do is find a good doctors. Forget focusing on testosterone . You need to find out why your testosterone is low, not trying to figure out how to supplement it or a reason to. As said in your other post you need to get your thyroid tested, look for tumors and such. TRT is not an option at your age.

You can find answers to all your questions with google and reading a few medical journals.
Yes testosterone is used for maintaining erections but there is a lot more to it than just that.
Yes orgasms use testosterone or can make the levels lower but it's minimal.

Take the advice in regards to finding a good doctor. Not your general practicioner who obviously is clueless but either and Endocrinologist or a fertility doctor. If your doctor denies you test remind him that he works for you, not vise versa.

-do orgasms use up testosterone? A tiny amount is contained in semen.

-where are key places in the body that contain androgen/testosterone receptors? Just about everywhere, with their density being genetically controlled.

    - what causes androgen receptor upregulation and downregulation? The presence of androgens causes upregulation. So no worries there.

    thanks
