While I was getting ready for work my wife informed me that I was getting too big and would not leave it alone so finally I had enough and told her she was getting a little too big also.(not the right thing to say)

5 minutes into work some old bat calls and chews my ass because her pickup doesn't work any better after we fixed it last week. Figured out that her husband forgot to bring it in and we hadn't even looked at it.

Employee drives over $350 valve cover and destroys it.

Different employee drives over $400 battery charger with a tractor.

One employee doesn't show up for work no phone call

Talk to wife at noon shes still pissed

Daughter comes to shop and tells me she's $6000 short for college this year.

Came to check contractors working on my shed and found thier pos truck leaking oil on my new concrete.

Come back to work and get notice that customer just filed bankruptcy on us and getting stuck for $8500

Went to gym and had a killer arm workout, came home wife is in better mood, life is good things could be a lot worse.

Business with a lot of employees is overrated. I used to call them all my children. The sh*t you put up with is amazing.. And the ones who all want loans cause they can't manage their personal lives was painful. The stress can be unbearable.

I am very lucky that both of my kids are hard workers I have always made them work for what they wanted.
My daughter works two jobs in the summer and one in the school year she puts in about 70 hours a week between both jobs.
My son does the same he averages about 72 hours a week in the summer and about 30 during the school year.

Some people criticize me for not helping them more and letting them cut back on their hours but at least they are earning their own way and they know how to work.
