Why not take steroids to reach genetic limit faster?
Why take steroids only when you reached your genetic limits? You gonna slowly lose the muscles cause you are passed your limit anyway.
So imo i dont see any reason to cycle after reaching genetic limit, unless u just wanna see how big u get .
but ya, why not take steroids to reach genetic limits faster and just maintain it from there?

It depends on the risks. Are you willing to risk the next 60 years of your health. There are reasons people say wait until your hpta is developed and you are at least closer to your genetic limits. No one expects you to reach it 100% but if you are 6ft and 150 lbs then aas isnt going to help much in the long run.

if you take aas past your limit, and stop, you will lose your gains
if you eat a diet at or above your TDEE/Protein targets, and stop, you will lose your gains
if you intensely work out in the gym and stop, you will lose your gains
hmmmmm..........
..........I think I'm beginning to see a pattern here?

Well when you get "old", you just go on trt forever and keep more muscles so your genetic limit has changed!
Anyway the reason i asked is cause alot of people here give advice on threads: "wait till you reach your genetic limits [then take roids]" which to me makes no sense lol.. Unless you are trying to scare that person

Well you have to take it for what it is. Most people who THINK they have reached their genetic limits are FAR from it.
You have a lot of 18-20yr old who say they cant gain weight or they have stopped growing. Well we know that's not true and you will still grow easily into your mid 20s. maybe not taller but you fill out, broader shoulders and such and if you take aas to early you have a good chance of stopping that growth prematurely.
You also have the guys like I said earlier who are 150 lbs and we know it's all diet. I was stuck at 155 lbs for many years but as I reached 25 I started gaining and got got up to almost 180 and never took any aas. It's all about diet and proper training.
If you dont learn how to train and eat properly anything you will gain you will loose just as fast and you will look like a fool. It's best to learn these things first and most take years of practice and experience to get even close to right.
Most everyone who is say in their 40s+ can tell you they thought they were smart when they were 18. When they were 25 they would LOL at how stupid they were at 18. When they were 30 they LOL at how little they knew at 25 etc. etc. Thats just life.

maybe a better way of saying this, easier to understand, than saying genetic limits, is
after you've eliminated the possibility of improving your diet any more, and
after you've bled sweat and tears in the gym for several years, and
you've tried everything you can think of, but
you've hit a plateau that just does not seem to move
then this is the genetic limit most of us refer to.
you really don't know if you've hit your genetic limit until pretty much these criterion are met.
