I'm the same mostly hip-hop/rap while I workout then for a PR I'll flip through my playlist until the right heavy metal song comes on. Usually something by lamb of god.
I am an electronic music guy, I listen to tech house, deep house, trance, but when going for a PB I like to put on some Shiba San, it's deep house with a little g house flavor. If you are into hip hop you might like some of his killer bass lines, check him out. I use sound cloud off my phone at the gym, we have free wifi.
