Marcus, why not just go? Try something new mate, if you don't enjoy it that's fine, but who knows? You may have the time of your life.

Thats a nice haul. How long did it take you to dig those? I have not been clam digging since I was a kid and went several times with the girlfriends parents. I miss those days.

I go trout fishing. There's nothing like putting on a pair of waders, standing in the middle of a stream for a couple hours in the woods & unwinding...

I know a nice spot that it you takes about 1/2 by boat to get to and then hike a short ways.
digging time probably 45 mins to a hour 2 people and it was in knee deep water Sandy area (no mud or rock)
the spot can be really tricky to get to with the tides, I have seen few boats stuck in sand bar stuck just waiting for tide to come back in so they can move.

There good- little chewy slight seafood flavor but it's all in the cook.
They are high in sodium and chlestrol so you got to be careful no eating to many.
my favorite it cutting them open raw putting some hot sauce and down they go.

I agree that you should go just for the experience. I went deep sea fishing when I lived in Florida. A few buddies and I chartered a boat for the day. Turns out I don't like fishing. But we had great time drinking and shooting the shit. I suppose we could have done it on the golf course but it was a nice day. I wouldn't do it again but I'm glad I had the experience. You never know. You might like it.

Are you sure he was under your stand, maybe he was just a decoy.
