LIke Keurig Coffee but HATE the cost of those little serving canisters?
Those little cups are running what? seventy, eighty cents each? Pretty freaking expensive if you ask me. So I decided to do a little research. There are a lot of great bulk gourmet coffee grinds, like Irish Mocha, that are available for pennies a cup, instead of almost a dollar.
a standard cup of coffee uses about 10 grams of coffee grind, therefore, one ounce of coffee grind can make three cups of coffee. Keurig runs about 2/3 of a buck for a of coffee, or two bucks per ounce of coffee grind, or $16/pound.
Here is an example of an expensive gourmet flavored coffee website that sells for $35/5pounds. Which is about half the price of Keurig. If you shop around, you can easily get a better deal.
Just thought I'd throw this out there.....
