GDamn Auto insurance...
Oh yeah, just what I wanted to do this morning on my day off after working 12hrs, play with the Auto insurance (Esurance) for 2hrs on the phone. They decided to raise my rates $700 every 6 months after I called on Nov 28th and confirmed changes and prices. In their words it was due to operating cost increases in Wa state.
Canceled Esurance, Hello Progressive and cost is back down to where it was, saved $700 ever 6 months. Fvcktards didnt believe me when I said fine, Ill call back in a couple hours to cancel after changing all 4 cars insurance.

Well Esurance only extorted $23 our of me since the policy had only been in effect for 3 days.
I should have switched long time ago, Progressive has been very good to me in the past when my quads got stolen a few years ago. They were paid out more than fair market value. I had no complaints and no increase in insurance.

all insurance companies are scammers, they'll do everything they can to charge you more if they can get away with it. but thank God for competition!

They should give you money back if you don't use it and that will keep down the scams that people do which causes our rates to raise.

I was in a similar situation. Last car was a Kia optima. ..newer one. Allstate had me at 225 a month! When I was asking friends and who ever....they were all paying 100 if that.
I did quotes for every company I could think of and all were the same prices. Finally got married. And decided to go with her company. ...state Farm. ....they quoted me..105 for the kia. Same time I got my new truck. Now I'm paying 101 a month.

Ha I know what you mean. When my wife got her license and I had to add her to my insurance with another vehicle my rates went down $50.

I just recently backed into someone's bumper with the Wife's car after >10 years with no accidents or tickets. Will be interesting to see how bad State Farm charges me for this...

they better not, 10 years of good driving should count for something! but then again we're dealing with insurance companies.

Just shop around, every company has different underwriting criteria...something that increases your rate substantially at one will be disregarded in another and vice versa. They usually balance out the risk factors in another area. Overall average profits for the top 20 p/c personal lines insurance companies are about 1% of written/earned premiums. For the most part, insurance companies actually operate in an underwriting loss (they pay out more in claims than they receive in premium), but they 'potentially' make money investing the premiums prior to paying the claims. Every state's Dept of Insurance regulates premiums to verify they are adequate but not excessive.....Not saying this justifies the shady stuff that they sometimes do, but they are profit oriented capital producing companies and making money is essential.

You mean "I''m going to buy Roman a $50 Costco Gift certificate card and mail it to him".....
.....see, you were getting ready to write that, and then the damn pen ran out of ink partly, so instead, it came out
"Canceled Esurance, Hello Progressive and cost is back down to where it was"
