Zero years - straight cashed out mine & my woman's savings at the economy's buckle. Dumped both of our houses & filled two separate BK's.

Mortgage this - I ain't doing it again, unless I am very well paid.

Shit, with what we had I thought that's all we could get.

But, 6 years ago AZ was like a ghost town. Each block had 50%+ foreclosed and abandoned.

We got our townhouse for 25,500 Bucks - it's currently worth right under 100k.

My friend is the one who made it out real good because he was approved for a Va neighborhood help out loan. Got a house for right under 100k, now it's worth right around 250.

    Hmmmmm cool!!!!!!

I would rather have a 10 year mortgage on a 3 bedroom property in 4 years time.

I don't want to be handcuffed for 25 years however time does fly.......

Our area did not get hit so hard with the foreclosures but prices did drop in 1/2. It took a while and Luke you we had to use all our saving and most of my 401k.

The house we got was 600k before the drop. We got it for 300k but dumped another 80k into remodel. It not back to 600k yet but close and not counting the upgrades. Real estate is not heap here.

Its our dream house more or less. House is great but no yard to speak of. 3200 sq ft. It was a short sale. I swear the people left 1/2 of their personal belongings
