    Hello Everyone - Been a looong time

    Wow, so the board is still here eh? That is good to see, how has everyone been? It has been almost 11yrs since I found this place and started training and got into shape. Unfortunately these last 5yrs I have focused on my professional development and completely let my health go. I am again an unhappy overweight chump and I think it's time to do something about it so I got to thinking of the old days and this board...thought I would browse around for a few. I hope to find that same positivity that supports people through their ups and downs and achieving their goals and am looking for some inspiration and support so I can get back on the horse and live a healthier lifestyle.

    August 2004 I needed badly to learn about nutrition and excercise, I took what I learned here and achieved more than I could have imagined (clean too, at first).

    January 2015 - Time to do it all over again...I think I somewhat know how but a lack of consistency has been a killer over these last 5yrs.

    Anyone else looking to reclaim a more active lifestyle?

    Welcome back. It's easier the 2nd time around. Sort of like muscle memory.

    Glad to see another "old" face. Congrats on your decision to regain/surpass your previous goals. For motivation, stop by the "Marcus' Diary" thread.... it did the trick for me. I started @ page 1 and by page 3, I was getting my old lifting notebook out and working up a grocery list.

    Thanks all...I'm going to get into the DIET forum and see what you pros can help me come up with. I'll post something and go from there, I have purchased some Flax/Dextrose/Protein and would like to start on the 12th

    Thanks everyone!

    So I am going to try to start this in February, I have travel the last week of this month looks like and I don't want any interruptions as I first get going.

    As far as workouts, I need to do AM workout cardio so any advice on that approach? In a perfect world I would do what I did before 10yrs ago...AM cardio and PM workout but life changes and that's crazy to think about going to the gym twice a day but god the results were awesome.

    I am guessing 30 minutes cardio after workout and then 45-1hr on non-workout days.

    Anyone i have ever done business with in the past has been over 17 thus making them a adult thus making your statement false and slanderous. Does the concept of a willing buyer willing seller allude you? Anyway this is off topic bloke

    I remember you bro (hetfield avatar), glad you've returned! I've just come back here myself this week after being gone for 4 or 5 years. I laid my bike down last year so I needed some motivation as I've returned to lifting and this is still a great place. anyway, welcome back.
