Major Changes for me. Went for a mental health check-up. UGH

As many of you know I've been dealing with crazy stress and anxiety. I decided to do something about it because I almost split with my wife and I needed to make a change. After several weeks of assessments etc. it comes out that I'm severely depressed and have a major case of adult ADHD. I've known I've had ADHD for years but didn't want to admit it.

The counselor recommends twice monthly sessions along with taking Wellbuterol. I'm going to give this a try and see how it changes things. Since being off my blast and back to my TRT dose I must admit I'm feeling a lot better and less anxious. Doing research on Wellbuterol they are using this for weight loss. Not sure if this will have any muscle wasting effects or if it only impacts fat? I guess I'm willing to lose some muscle if it helps my overall mental health, depression, and ADHD issues. Will just have to eat more.

Wish me luck it's going to be an interesting ride. Not sure when I will start the meds but I'm hoping it's sooner than later.

    Definitely best of luck.

Careful with the wellbuteral, that stuff can easiky become addictive and hard to come off if you choose.

You say you feel better just on trt, maybe you could wait before going on any phyc drugs?

Best of luck bro, we are here for you if you need support or to just vent. Like LB said, watch that dr. poison, if you need it, you need it, just make sure it doesn't get a hold of you.

I was thinking that but with the ADHD it is nearly impossible to stay focused and it's been impacting every aspect of my life. I def. don't want to get addicted to any meds though. I def. have to say that being off of a blast and being back at my TRT dose it's def easier to stay level headed. Makes me wonder if blasting and cruising is for me. That said, my blast in the summer (if I do one) will be much more mild.

I did low dose tren e, 200mg week and once it built up in my system I got great results with very minimal sides.

At 200mg/week Tren Ace I feel awesome but then since I don't have any negative sides I increase to 300-400mg/week and it kills me. If I can just have the discipline to stay at 200mg/week I would be fine. haha

Thanks, I appreciate it. My therapist is awesome and already gave me tips on how to start working on my marriage. I mentioned them to my wife and she thought they were great compromises for both of us and the main focus will be fixing the issues in our marriage, and helping me get more organized and to stop waiting for the last minute to get things done. My goal is to just start feeling human again and not have so much anger.

Fvck therapists, fvck drugs & fvck listening to people's nonsense

If I can't council myself, no one can help me

I dropped my Xanax script a few weeks back & guess what - I'm fine

In theory it is possible to have a true chemical imbalance. But, IMO it's quite rare

I'm on juice to hold myself together through my new found awful job. And that's it - I don't need shit else

Fvck this shit - that I need something to make me feel different

I am in control of my mental state & stability - I don't need help.

The funny thing is the counselor said that he never sees adult males starting therapy. If they didn't start it at a younger age they almost never do anything about it. I truly feel that I made the right decision to better my quality of life.

For sure! Its never to late but men become so prideful that its nearly impossible. Pride is one of man's biggest down falls. It keeps us from seeing situations clearly and making sound decisions. Awesome job buddy, commit to it 100% ! I just changed my life totally the past 2 years, although I did it through Christ, my my marriage, work all has never been better. Change is good.......unless Obama is making the change Im excited to see how things go, if you attitude is a sign, your doing great already.

Mad respect to you, Pistol. Changing one's self for the right reasons is one of the toughest things a person can do. Whether or not the prescriptions are the right solution for you, you simply can't know unless you give it a sincere try.

It takes more accountability and courage to commit to what you've done than most men have. I've been there and it was well worth it.
