Pissed off. In our lease we pay a flat fee of 300 a month for utilities. If it goes over for the month we're supposed to make up the difference at the end of the month.
The landlord texts today to let us know that we've been running over since December and wants the difference ASAP What the f%CK. Why couldn't we be informed of this when it first started. Stupid c$nt.

Is it run through a real estate agency/property management ? They should be notifying you of excessive use. I use to rent my house out. 2 hot asian birds and one nerdy asian bloke.

Shouldn't they tell you that monthly? Why is it in their name and not yours? Is your electric tied into your landlords? If so I wouldn't pay any more. How do you know what you used and what they used? If not I'd want to see proof as well. Sounds like their trying to get some extra money from you

She's supposedly sending me statements. I just got of the phone with her and told her I will make up the difference over the next 5 months in monthly installments. I would have honestly just had the utilities in my name to start with. This lease is up in August and I will not be renewing

Seems this realty company has screwed over a few different military families in the area in one way or another. We're going to do our best to get them blacklisted by local military installations
