News just gets better and better
I won't go to much in detail To protect my privacy but I had it confirmed through a medical professional that I actually do have some very serious medical problems.
The beautiful part? It was 100% preventable if the army just decided to properly teach leadership how to instruct physical training. Instead anybody that gets stripes is qualified to be a personal trainer in the armies eyes.
I know I'm being vague but I'm just ranting. So frustrating because since I was like 10 years old I've been lifting weights, paying attention to what I eat. Just generally taking care of my health. Now I'm 26 years old and I can't hold my kids for extended periods of time without pain, I can't pick them up off the floor without pain. I have to stop and lie down during the day due to pain. And it's all 100% preventable.

Also this is not me bashing on people with out a cert. I'm just saying that if people are going to be forcing others to physically train every day for an hour, they should have to have some kind of schooling provided by the army.

I understand your venting but you weren't forced to do pt everyday. You volunteered to work in the public service which means you work for the tax payer thats what you get paid for. Im 26 aswell my back is fvcked aswell and my wrist is weak. Thats what army life is. You give up your body and time for crappy pay and conditions but enjoyable work.

It will cost more to tax payer but thats the benefit you get of serving the public. Im not having a dig at you mate but Are you happy with army life? Ive seen you post a few threads throwing out the odd complaint here or there. And it makes me that that your not happy about it.
What about all the unqualified people that lead blokes into combat over the years? All the wrong decisions that have been made getting soldiers killed and your complaining about some tough pt? I may not be american but I'm sure they teach you about traditions and honour of past serviceman. Have a little read about "the battle of the nek" I'm sure those blokes would rather have incompetent pt instructors than incompetent officers.
I understand your venting and your angry i feel ya i have been there but remember you do what you do for the public not for your self.

There's always someone who has it worse than you but it's also perfectly fine to vent once in awhile. we all do it and it's good for the soul.

It's definitely not for everyone but we need career oriented people or it would be a mess, more than it is now. Unfortunately we have a long history of neglecting our soldiers and really not paying our career military hardly a livable wage or taking care of them when they retire.
My brother was in the airforce a little over 20 years. He still has to have at least a part time job to really get by.
Do what you need to do to make things right for you current situation and future. There is no reason to go through life suffering if you dont need to or if you do because of someone else ignorance then you should be compensated. Again, do what you think is right and fair.

Not for nothing, but people are still held accountable for their actions or negligence, under the UCMJ. You're kind of coming across as if because he decided to enlist, anything that happens to him up to and including gross negligence is tough shit because he's a civil servant. There is a wide range of rules governing the activities of officer&enlisted personnel, although admittedly it leaves a lot to be desired when discussing liability&personal injury due to training. I get your point though.
