Any suggestions to help with eye fatigue. I am on a computer for at least 9 hours a day!
Anything? Drops. Compresses. Gamer glasses???
My eyeballs feel swollen from eye strain. Very unhappy!

9 hours? Jeez. How is your back and shoulders feel sitting? Do you wear glasses?
Get off the computer and go to the gym... try that.
On a serious note, just adjust the computer brightness so it's not too bright, and increase the font size so you're not reading tiny font. There are websites/guides to adjusting all monitor setting to minimize strain on your eyes.
Best thing to really do is to take several breaks, even if you just turn your chair around and eat an apple for a couple minutes.
I got a dang pilonidol cyst back when I spent that much time in a chair.

They also hurt and I don't have glasses yet but think maybe I need to get eyes checked. That's why I was thinking gamer glasses.Originally Posted by Euroholic

Brightness is all the way full high. Don't size is small. I can't download any apps that haven't been approved by work.
I like the breaks and turning away from computer. I don't do these now.
My dept got hit hard with ppl leaving so the few of us left are working 2x the workload..... I need to find an alternative bc my eyeballs are freaking unhappy.
I will look up this cyst. I don't think I want one.
I could crush you.

I'm in the same boat but 12 he's a day at work.
They did a study on this at my last job and when you sit in front of the screen you blink about 10 times less than normal which is causing a lot of dryness and irritation.
Ask Cal..... He stares at fatty porn on the computer for about 12-13 hours a day
I will have to try this. My eyes are still tearing.Originally Posted by Honkey_Kong

Yes, stop looking at the screen, close you eyes and sleep. Oh and using the phone to surf lime I am now makes it worse.
Yeah I know that doesn't really help. One thing I read a while back said at least once an hour to stop and close your eyes for at least 2 minutes. No peaking.
Close your eyes for 2-3 minutes every hour, try to meditate during this time, just my 2cents... It helps me
PS: Lovbyts I swear I did not read your post before writing mine lol![]()
Roll ur eyes around a few times (10-20secs) clock/counterclockwise
...or hold like a pencil in front ur face and maybe even somethin behind the pencil...then focus on pencil....object behind...then object in distance...in any order repeatley...
I agree w/aus and color changes... Breaks, what about those funny looking things that attach to the screen for this problem? Don't know if they work lol
But anything to take your eyes off the screen, BB stated at least a break every hr or more - does visine help(they have list of different types)...
