    Doctors Appointments

Does everyone else have problems with getting an appointment with a doctor?

I called to make an appointment today and told them I am having muscle tightness, have a knot on the bottom of my foot that I would like looked at, and a physical. The receptionist said, "sir, that is like 4 things, the physical takes forever so you would have to schedule a different appointment for that."

That really irked me but had to make the appointment as I have been having knot issues for almost 2 years now!

No its not just about $$$. It's about new regulations. Welcome to Obamacare. It's going to get a lot worse.

What if everyone taxes the system and makes nonsense appointments twice a month. Te insurance companies will double their payments. Then again they'll probably bring up the cost of healthcare lol

Sounds like a shitt doctor. Change centres bull. Whether or not they are government subsidized or not they still work for the tax payer i.e. the patient and should accommodate you.

Thats the problem with free healthcare. You get those old grannies and hypochondriacs going in every other day for stupid things that waste the doctors time. You also get cvnts wanting a doctors note for a day off work.
Unless its a serious medical condition you should only get a couple appointments a a year.

The people here don't want the healthcare reform that our president put through..... Sadly enough..... The people we voted in failed to read the whole bill. Also, the leader we elected gave the congress men and women we elected very little time to actually read the insanely long bill.

I'm all for bankrupting the healthcare reform to get rid of it.....

They didn't read any of the bill because they were told if you want to know what's in it you have to pass it first.

Good. You have been struggling for a while. What specialty. General practitioner?

I pay for regular massages. No coverage. So don't have to be on pain meds and muscles relaxers....

If I were you I would look into the best sports medicine docs/internal medicine/or an orthopedic - she may provide one - but from my experiences they were usually much worse than the ones I had found... Just a thought!

Sitting at the doc's office now, looks like she is an orthopedic/sports medicine doctor so fingers crossed!!!!

Last night when doing some reading, I found this article. It describes me to a T, minus all the knots and not being able to heal well
