3rd Interview with Target
I'm going for my 3rd interview for an Executive Team Leader position (basically one of the assistant managers). Anyone ever worked that position? Advice?...
I've heard it's a really tough position with long hrs. They hire for this position right out of college but I have a Bachelors degree and 10 years experience as a Multi Unit Operations Manager so I'll be hopefully grooming for a Store Manager position quickly. I've heard that position was a little more laid back but still demanding.
Any constructive advice would be great. Thanks!

I cant help but laugh at the title, its like they threw in the word executive to make it sound better. I worked at (we'll call it a store, dont like giving out personal info on here) a LONG time ago and I'm assuming this is the equivalent of an assistant manager or department head.
My first question would be is it salaried? If it is I would go to your local target and speak to someone that has this position and pick their brain before I even considered it.
Second question, is the pay and the work environment what you want? Do you feel they are offering you what you are worth?
My advice is do not settle.

Im very business minded and could sell foreskin to a muslim but by the sounds of the corporate world i would hate all that political correctness, fair treatment in the workplace bull dust. Your either a winner or your a loser regardless of creed or skin pigmentation etc etc

A friends wife had that same position a couple of years back.
She made very good money but it was salary and she worked a lot of hours 60-70 hours a week.
