    Best Boxing Match Ever.....

    What do you think?
Austinite started a great Roy Jones Jr thread here in the lounge and it got me thinking. What is/are the best fights you have ever seen?
I can think of 2 series of fights I think are at the top for all time greats but they are multiples, not single fights.
The Gotti/Ward Trilogy and the Barrera/Morales Trilogy. Those 6 fights are among the most entertaining fights I have ever watched.
    List you favs.....

Sugar ray Leonard vs Marvin Haggler(sp)

Leonard should have lost the fight but he flurried for the last 30sec of every round making it look like he stole the round :/ I loved Haggler!

Duh - how'd I forget that one LOL - that was a great fight man!

I liked both Hagler & Hearns style... Both hard nosed - & tough - strong chins! Man could they take a punch(and give em lol)

I lived in Pensacola for 16 years and ran across RJJ quite a few times and always was a fan! But once he got knocked out and started dressing like a pirate he lost me....

I remember no one thought Hearns would stand toe to toe with Hagler but he sure did. If I remember right I think the fight only lasted like ten minutes tops but it was 10 minutes of non stop punching! An all out brawl!

Yes Sir - it was all punching and that's what I meant regarding Haggler - had like a street fighter style(like you said a brawler)

8min of furry - just re-watched it - Haggler was belting him in nuts all 3 rounds(judge even took points away) he didn't care...
