That has to be done in Hollywood. With special effects etc. No way that's real.

Very real and, as long as his butt stays on the bench (can't really tell from the video), it is a completely legitimate lift that would be recognized by the IPF. Having said that, I am not all that impressed when I see lifters do this. I would much rather see a bencher with a very slight arch in his back (just enough to stay tight and engage the lats) push 400lbs with a 'full' range of motion than I would someone who lifts like the kid above who pushes 475lbs.
Do you want to look like you're strong, or do you want to BE strong. I'm for the latter.

Why is the video hidden? Couldn't see the super squats one either and ended up googling Randall Strossen's routine.

It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.
Light travels faster then sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
Great place to start researching ! http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...-database.html

LOL, reminds me of that girl who has the same massive arch. Somehow his shoulders are still on the bench? Either way should NOT count as a clean lift.

What I meant by "looking like you're strong" is going up to your buddies and being able to say, "yea, I can bench 'such and such' a weight". I suppose I could have reworded that. That being said, he did not 'cheat' (as long as his butt was on the bench the whole time). Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with it either. But the IPF would still count it in competition. Then again, there are people who say sumo-style deadlifts are 'cheating' also because it decreases the range of motion (I don't agree with this; sumo DL can be very difficult until you master the technique).
