    today i learned...

The beauty of the mind-muscle connection. I have been training wrong my whole pitiful life. Doing the same movement the same way without the connection is completely different than doing it with the mind in play! Its remarkable. /rant.

We learn something new about our bodies n bodybuilding everyday. What have you guys learned today?

i was talking to my friends today about HIT and training to trueee failure and they say "yeah but we always train like that..except we do TWO full working sets to failure...so were doing more if anything" to which i reply..."we dont train to true failure" and they can swear that we do. I told them that theres this big guy named Marcus who hits his first working set so hard that he cant do the same movement again and they seemed confused and sort of astonished. I have only developed a small small sense of mind muscle connection even when i think im going 100%...im probably not. I compare how connected i felt to my muscles with my mind when i first started lifting to now and its so much different...and i feel that as you mature in your training you reach that level. Like someone who plays violin so well that they close their eyes and let their emotions literally play the instrument and create new works. Until that point youre reading notes and repeating them and havent developed that TRUE connection to the instrument. Our bodies are our instrument and i think the same concept applies and that we need to "master" our bodies.

Ive just learned that i can pluck the violin lol.
