Loss of speed, lots of fatigue, (MAOI and SSRI experience, need feedback)

About a year ago I went on Lexapro for a few months for anxiety I was having. I didn't really feel any better so my doc switched me to zoloft and then eventually put me on an MAOI....Since then I have gained 25 pounds over the period of 14 months. A lot of it is actually muscle(I know this based on body comps and strength gains). However while this is nice for appearance and confidence, I feel like absolute crap when I try to do any form of cardio. I'm not entirely sure why this is. Has anyone else had this experience that would like to weigh in? I know that weight gain is a common side effect for antidepressants, but did you find it to be water weight, fat, or muscle? How were the different parts of your workout effected? appreciate anyone experiences.

Cardio is probably just harder because you gained a bunch of weight. If anything, an MAOI should cause you to lose weight, since it increases norepinephrine levels (among other neurotransmitters). What MAOI is it?

phelizine sulfate (aka Nardil). I was looking up some facts on it and it said that it can through cortisol and adrenal levels outta wack.
