Yeah it's cool you can use the same weight to actually do a drop set by starting in the hardest position -
Think of a one arm rev tri extension stand back far enough to where your elbow and hand w/attachment are at 90* then start - when you hit failure take one big step in go beyond failure ten one more step in and you'll stay within 1-3 reps on those Drops
It's weird - I pinned the upper outter quad where we always talk about but you know how it(the swelling or redness) moves south - it's actually over my tear drop /
It's gotten much better today(been 2 days prior - first rolling it out with a short straight bar lol - I'm home early today gonna ice the shit outta it and keep NSAIDS going
Update - it's red and it's not lookin to good... I was on my feet all day and I trained posterior chain yesterday and I'm hoping now I'm off feet ice & elevate it it may help... Let's hope my immune system can fight this off...

Just updating this thread Bio and for all the regulars too
I'm in the hospital.... It started on pin day and all was good(I'm not going to use quads for a while) but when I was on hack squat machine I went to/or actually below parallel - right deep under my tear drop it had popped / like a mule kicking me in leg! After that first day there was a localized red spot but nowhere inj site... Weird?!
So the day after I hit posterior chain which I'm sure did not help -- it's now moved over my quad and behind it - getting IV antibiotics(vancomycin) and waiting on my test results from BW ultrasound as I have not spoke to a dr yet!
I hope everything is ok brother. That pop sound gas me concerned! Keep us posted please

The tests came back negative for any clotting or MRSA / it's gone down quite a bit already but I will be here till tomorrow at the least! They will make a decision on what day I can leave after tomorrow!

So guys
I'm leaving the hospital now
I did, however, tear my quad(MRI confirmed so it was no infection) weird as it got it did release something that caused slight cellulitis that the IV antibiotics cleared up -- it was the swelling & redness from the quad!
I'll be taking her easy on quads but I am allowed to resume all other lifting - even talked my doc into posterior chain workwe'll play by ear tho
legs never responded like this b4 tho - but I wasn't lifting them hard enough either! Just goes to show ya it's easy to my to yourself saying you went or have gone all out(more so to the youngsters and people newly starting)! Although we all need a good kick in the arse sometimes
