Getting back at it again...
My new position at work has had me travelling just about every week. I've been training in hotel gyms more often than not. Which if you know anything about hotels, they have junk for equipment and weights aren't even worth lifting because they're so light. So I'm stuck with cardio and some light resistance. I feel like I am walking over to the gym as a habit; as if I just checked a "to do list" box. Not with any goal in mind.
As much as I hate to say it, but I screwed up my diet as well. I made every excuse not to go to a local gym where ever I am, and to eat unhealthy. Very disappointed in myself. In fact, I haven't been to my own supplement store because I am ashamed of myself for letting go. Can't show the employees what I've been up to, or haven't been up to, rather!
Anyway, I have started a pretty hardcore diet this past week and I am down 8 lbs already thanks to the Fat Loss Protocol and a ton of cardio. I'm currently at 247 lbs and will be back to 235 soon. I have no idea where my body fat is but have already scheduled a bod-pod assessment this Saturday. I am guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of 20%. UGH!
Cut Cut Cut. I'm so hungry all the time. It's going to take a little while to get used to these small meals again. I generally train body parts once every 9 days, but for calorie-burning's sake, I'll be doing each part twice weekly for the next 6 weeks. I'll get to 235 without T3, but might introduce it depending on my bod-bod results. So far, my friend synephrine has been friendly to me. Once I get back down, it might be time again to utilize all those prescription vials that I've been stockpiling.
This just reminds me of how much work and effort we put in to maintain a healthy and strong body. It's a reminder that in order for me to see my abs every morning at weigh-in, I have to have consistency. It's a reminder that I need to live the lifestyle. Keep strong, folks! Don't get into a slump like I did.
Have a powerful day,

Hi Aust!
Have you ever tried intermittent fasting? It keeps me from having to eat small bird like meals.
Will you be starting a thread?
I've been reading your vit D log, just found out my vit d level is around 25.

I'm sure you've seen everything under the sun, but just had to mention my experience with Paleo. Took me from 20% bf to about 16%, effortlessly (I ate more, never went hungry and never did cardio). This was before I started TRT. Again, sure you've seen it all, just wanted to share, good-luck.

Wow, you suck at the Vitamin D!
I'm going back to vitamin D injections.
I don't think I have time to maintain a thread, but I'll update whenever possible. Never tried fasting, sounds boooooooring! I can lose a pound a day if I need to, but that's not healthy. lol. I'm sticking to the usual no carb diet for a while and keeping calories low. Works everytime. I really only need to diet for 1 to 2 months just till my TDEE get's back up there.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

It happens to the best of us aust, and with your muscle memory and experience, you'll snap back in no time flat. You know what to do.
I travelled for years for work and I agree, it can easily get the best of you. My suggestion would be to pick up a large chain gym membership like Golds where there's many locations and they offer travel passes, and take the time to go to a real gym when you're on the road.
I didn't have too much time to eat during the day either, so I'd do my best to get a good breakfast in (I'd try to do hotels with a breakfast and throw down some oats, fruit and hard boiled eggs) and then pick up a bunch of nuts and protein bars/shakes for the day. Then, after work hit the gym (if no golds, find a local and just pay the daily fee) then get a nice dinner in.
Even places you normally wouldn't go such as Applebee's or Ruby Tuesday's, you can get a healthy dinner there, I would often not even order off the menu and just order a chicken breast or steak, with rice, potatoes, veggies etc.
Welcome back brutha.

Even the best can slip. Love the honesty in this thread. "I ****ed up and now I am taking responsibility and going to fix it". I am sure you will be back where you want to be in due time. Wish you nothing but the best of luck.

Great post Aus!
Obviously there isn't a damn thing that you don't know much about in this industry and lifestyle! It surely isn't anything that you won't overcome in time(and that's meant to be pretty shortly lol)... It's great to see a person with your reputation and knowledge making this thread... It surely happens to the best of us, which has me thanking you for the extra push in w/the nutrition aspects of things... It's easy to fall into this trap and I'm hoping you will do a log! Anyway, best of luck w/all your future endeavors, as well as blasting your goals(in no time)! Good stuff!

Man i know Dieting is tough but just remember YOU are worth all the hard work. You will be back in no time. Loosing 2 % bf each week can be pretty realistic
